The Conversation

The voices that you hear at  the end of this song are of Brian Hoover and his wife Jennifer. They are reenacting an actual conversation that took place only weeks before Lauren’s fatal accident in front of our church.

 

One afternoon, while Brian was in his office at Hanover Evangelical Friends Church, serving as Youth pastor, Lauren stuck her head in his door and told him that she wanted to see Jesus. Thinking it was the comment of a typical 16 year old, he simply answered “OK”. She insisted that she wanted to see Jesus. When He answered that “We all want to see Jesus”, she told him, “No, I really want  to see Jesus”.

 

He gave her what she wanted and more.
